
Mike Gillis is Senior Vice President of Hitachi Consulting’s Microsoft Global Alliance. In this role Mike is responsible for overall client satisfaction, employee development, and welfare for all Microsoft Global Projects. Mike has worked with Microsoft and its technologies and people for 20 years during which Mike enjoyed success founding and developing several successful Microsoft technology-based companies. Mike is a tireless advocate of the client value created by Hitachi’s partnership with Microsoft. Delivering unparalleled value with end-to-end industry solutions based on Microsoft technologies that includes industry focus, software industry domain expertise, and proven tier-one people.
Mike and his fellow founding partners Greg Carter, Gary Peterson, and Mark Veronda joined Hitachi Consulting in 2007 as part of the acquisition of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Iteration2. - Iteration2 was well-recognized as the fastest growing and most successful Microsoft Dynamics Partner with credentials that include being 2-time Microsoft U.S. Partner of the Year, Microsoft’s Global Dynamics AX Partner of the Year and winning dozens of Microsoft Regional Partner Awards. Mike serves on several Microsoft Partner advisory councils, including the Microsoft Dynamics US Partner Advisory Council, the Microsoft Convergence Partner Advisory Council, and the Microsoft ISV Partner Advisory Council.
Last year in New Orleans Mike was honored by Microsoft with the Eagle Award and was the initial inductee into the Microsoft Dynamics Partner Advisory Council Hall of Fame, which recognizes an individual’s outstanding contributions to the Microsoft Dynamics partner channel.
Since joining Hitachi Consulting, Mike and all key management from Iteration2 continue to succeed and flourish with Hitachi. A testament both to Mike’s leadership and to Hitachi’s expertise in acquiring and integrating companies. Mike lives and works in Irvine, California with his wife Maribeth and their two daughters Madison and Hailey.
